This song has been stuck in my head all day. Bastille is the best with “Overjoyed.”

Another oldie, but this is one the first songs I heard from Matt Nathanson and I was hooked for life. What do you think of “Bulletproof Weeks”?

Sounds like a 50s throwback but it’s not. It’s Coastal Cities with “Nothing Ever Changes.”

Lovin’ this new song “Wake Me Up” by Avicii. Just not really a fan of all the advertisements embedded in the video. Any idea how many are featured here?

An oldie but a goodie when it comes to summer endings. Green Day with “Wake Me Up When September Ends”

Yes, Miley Cyrus is getting lots of coverage because of her performance of “We Can’t Stop” but if you watched the music video, it’s not much different from the VMA performance. I don’t get the big deal…still it’s actually a good song. Especially for the end of summer.

Lovin’ this Rizzle Kicks cover of “Summertime Sadness” by Lana del Rey. Seriously, they added a Caribbean flavor to this song and it’s so chill.

It’s rare that I love rap, but Rizzle Kicks got it going on with “Lost Generation.” Satire + Rap? So inventive and yet so true.

New Indie EP! Amber - “Noah”

Riding on a jazz French wave with Fefe singing “Le Charme Des Premiers Jours.” When acoustic sets sound good, you know they got talent!

Sometimes, songs in other languages sound even more beautiful than what I do understand. This one, “Desole” by Kellylee Evans is so chill and relaxing…I can’t help but put this on to unwind at the end of a long day.

I wish she had more songs…she’s wonderful! Check out Nilu singing “Sing For You.”

// Looking for new songs!//

I’m always on the hunt for awesome music and cool artists/bands. If you have a suggestion, please let me know!

Such a soothing song…check out Rhye’s single “Open.”
